Description

Code 4 Defense is proud to announce  the GEN 2 NVB-58 (Night Vision Bridge – 58° field of view). The NVB-58 was designed as a simple compact PVS-14 bridge that gives the user a fixed 58° field of view. This is a nearly 50% increase over the standard 40° field of view offered by other dual tube systems. Made with the latest additive manufacturing processes, the NVB-58 offers the end user with a lightweight, durable design.

Unlike other wide field of view, or “panoramic” bridge options on the market, the NVB-58 gets its field of view from a fixed angle in the attachment arms of the PVS-14s. This offers several benefits over creating an angle in the bridge of the device. First, a fixed angle requires very little in the way of adjustment for the end user. Simply place the device into your field of view, and you are good to go. This also means the device doesn’t suffer as much when accidently bumped against objects. The fixed angle also means that when you articulate the device out of your field of view, it becomes parallel with the mount, reducing the risk of snags. When you stow the unit, the fixed angle tilts the front of the PVS-14 towards the centerline of your helmet to further reduce the chance of snags while limiting the overall profile for vehicle born operations.

In addition to the fixed field of view arms, the NVB-58 comes with an additional set of parallel arms. This allows the user to either mount both PVS-14s in a more traditional parallel configuration, or mount a single PVS-14 in case of unit failure.

The NVB-58 does not require a tool for installation or adjustments. In order to change tension on the arms of the bridge, simply tighten the thumb screws. In addition, there are thumb screws used to attach the PVS-14s to the bridge. This means you don’t have to worry about carrying a separate tool with you in the field to make minor adjustments.

The NVB-58 utilizes a standard dovetail mount which works with most industry standard helmet attachments. In the rear of the bridge is a place to attach bungee cords from either side of the helmet.

I got my NVB-58 about a year ago and this thing is absolutely amazing!!!

I just received my order and I don’t know where to start with how thrilled I am about it! I ordered the Nvg-58 about a year ago and it has been a fantastic piece of kit, I recently got a thermal monocular and gave my second nvg to my partner so I needed the thermal arm for the nvb and a single mount for her helmet and what do you know, another incredible experience, super fast processing and the quality is insane. I love how simplistic of a design y’all have for the single mount, my partner is still new to nvg’s and hasn’t quite decided right or left eye and now she can just flip it over during training to figure out which is going to be better for her.
And the thermal mount is amazing, 1 screw to set it up and friction to lock the device to the mount so I can pass it over to a teammate if necessary and not deal with more screws.
I wish I had more helmets to set up cause I would love to buy more gear from y’all. But anyone I come into contact with that needs gear recommendations will absolutely be hearing about all the awesome things you guys offer.
Thank you all again for being so awesome!!

This thing is feature rich at literally the most affordable price on the entire bridge market. It’s got the IPD stops when you deploy the monos. It’s got the hand adjustable knobs so you dont need tools to tighten the articulating arms or take off a monocular like my old bridge. It can be stowed up against my helmet feeelsss sooooo light since the center of gravity is pushed back or whatever it’s such an understated feature. The gentleman talks about it in the video and it’s my favorite thing about this bridge. My old bridge you could push it back when stowed yeah but not as far as these, the weight is the same but is managed so much better since its right up against your helmet feels sooooo comfortable. Its probably not a problem for lighter bino housings but given the weight of dual 14’s its so nice. Ive used these in the cold and the knobs and arms did not lose tension mmmmmmlike my old bridge did. Super rigid material I trust it 100%. Genius design everyone who wants a pvs14 bridge should buy one of these.

So glad I found this product! Excellent piece of kit! Works great as either dual or solo setup due to the lightweight. This is rough nylon similar to a firearm stock, it remains lightweight but retains sufficient rigidity – hard to explain but the plastic “bites” nice and solid – as stated above, I’ve had metal mounts still have some looseness due to tolerances, especially between different manufacturers dovetails, please don’t buy a cheap China mount to save money over the Wilcox, buy this instead – better than an airsoft toy mount, but literally 1/3 of a G24 ($600!? Insanity!!) – if you think it’s too brittle, heck buy two and you still come out under budget with a backup. The panoramic offset is a bonus as well, honestly bought for the bridge setup but “stayed” for that setup, it really does work and provides seamless unobstructed vision, easy to maneuver and no comfort issues – thank you!
